Having an English section now, there would be a great opportunity to build an English-German (and vice versa) automotive dictionary. I am sure many German users with English (hopefully not) or American (Yes!) cars would appreciate a dictionary that provides an accurate translation of technical terms. Other than e.g. LEO which often gives 10+ different meanings for a specific word, this dictionary could focus on the translation needed in the automotive context.
An example:
"rod" has several meanings, but for the automotive world only one or two are relevant, such as "tie rod", "push rod" etc.
Does that sound reasonable? If yes, I would go forward and think how to implement this. | |
