More accuracy and description detail in Road Books - but retaining the FIA – FIM standard typology

90% completely new and unused tracks.

Navigation
In Evia Rally Raid, navigation through entire stage will be made with Road Book.
CP & TC points will be defined in the Road Book with predefined marks.
Assistance – emergency waypoints will be provided for each stage, for use only in emergency. The use of waypoints in vain will incur penalties
The GPS tracking and logging device will be given to the competitors by the organization with alarm button available.
This system will be used for tracking competitors' position and taken for tracking speed competitors in any speed limit zones.
The Route will remain secret until the road book is distributed to the crews on 20:00 of the day before the stage.
Road Book of Evia Rally Raid2011, is in standard format for Cars and UTV or buggies, and in 150 mm wide in roll for
Bikes and Quads or single seated buggies.
Official Road Book is in English and in FIA – FIM Rally Raid format.
Minimum unit distance is 10 meters and participants must to calibrate their Trip Master the day before the stage in a defined distance given by the organizers.
It is absolutely forbidden to go in the opposite direction of the route and it is not allowed to go off the track. This incurs a penalty.
The route is divided in
• Liaison stage with maximum time defined
• Special stages
• Connection Stages with service time included
In the liaison section competitors must follow the route in a predefined time.
Special stages is to be covered against time, sum of timing will be the basis of classification.
Any penalties will be added to this time.
Evia Rally Raid 2011 will provide an alternative option to the adventure riders who want to live the race from a holiday point of view.
200 klm per day for the weekend will give them an sense of racing with Road Book or GPS and finish early for a diving in the crystal blue waters of the Aegean.
1 special stage per day and the respective liaisons, will be the menu for them.

• Enduro (for bikes up to 450cc)
• On Off riders (all single or bi cylinder bikes up to 1200)
• Quad –ATV riders
• 4x4 cars
The Trail classes will be timed separately with respective Cups and medals and many prizes by the local businesses.
Sub Classes
Special Classification for the main race will be under the classes:
Bikes
• Enduro (bikes up to 450cc)
• On Off (650cc to 800cc single cylinder)
• Big On Off (650cc to 1200cc bi cylinder)
• Women overall class for moto and Quads
• Veterans for riders over 45 of age
• GPS class for moto and Quads
• Rookies for newcomers regardless the bike
Cars
• Z1.1 for T1 cars up to 2000cc
• Z1.2 for T1 cars over 2000cc
• Z2.1 for T2 cars up to 2000cc
• Z2.2 for T2 cars over to 2000cc
• Z3.1 for for production cars up to 2000cc (regularity)
• Z3.2 for for production cars over to 2000cc (regularity)
